Remediation for AXIS Image Health Alerts

1. Review the Alert in YourSixOS

    • Log into the YourSixOS platform to examine the alert details
    • Review the recorded footage from the time of the alert to identify any visible factors that may have triggered the notification
    • Check live video to assess focus, lighting, and overall scene clarity

2. Inspect the Camera Physically

    • Look for any physical obstructions like dirt, spider webs, or water spots on the lens
    • Ensure the camera is properly focused—manually adjust or trigger autofocus if needed
    • Check the condition of the lens and housing for cracks, fogging, or glare

3. Assess Lighting Conditions

    • Verify that the area is well-lit, especially during low-light hours.
    • If infrared (IR) is in use, ensure it’s not reflecting off nearby surfaces and distorting the image.

4. Validate Image Settings

    • Review camera settings such as exposure, white balance, and sharpness.
