Live Controls

The YourSixOS platform enables real-time control over a barrier’s state and mode, while also providing instant visibility into critical alerts such as ‘forced open’ or ‘open too long’ events.

The image above highlights several supported live actions and real-time statuses that barrier widgets can display within the matrix. In YourSixOS, the barrier widget presents three primary visual indicators.

  • Barrier Mode
Represents the intended operational setting of the barrier as controlled by the system:
    • Locked – The barrier is actively secured and will not allow access without valid credentials
    • Unlocked – The barrier is not secured and will allow access freely
    • Accessed – A valid credential was presented, and access was granted for a short time (often temporarily unlocking the barrier)
  • Barrier State
Represents the actual physical position or condition of the barrier as indicated by the barrier icon in the widget:
    • Open – The barrier is currently open
    • Closed – The barrier is currently closed
  • Barrier Alarm
Alert condition related to the barrier:
    • Forced Open – The barrier was opened without authorization (e.g., pried or pushed open)
    • Open Too Long – The barrier has remained open longer than the configured threshold
