Important note for REX motion units: Axis A1210 models require an external power source to power a REX motion unit because the inrush current exceeds the 50mA available on the AUX port. Axis recommends using the reader as the power supply solution. As of January 2025, Axis is aware of the issue and plans to update the boards; however, no specific timeline for resolution has been provided.
